Had popcorn shrimp with onion rings, which were huge and delicious, hush puppies were ok. No wait staff or booths. Mostly takeout which is constant. Host is friendly and cracks jokes with the customers. Had big screen tv playing sports

I’m convinced that anyone who gave this place 5 stars was paid to. This food is awful! Croaker had the weirdest batter I’ve ever seen in my life. A wet batter that I’m sure has less to do with a recipe but more to do with preserving it so as not to have to make a new one each day. Hush puppies and fries were bland which looked and tasted as if they had been dropped in reused grease about 100 times today to reheat. Coleslaw looked like a loose, runny cottage cheese. All cole, no slaw so it sprinted quickly into the garbage. I didn’t dare try it. Even the appearance of the cocktail sauce had me hesitant. A brownish looking dollop of concern and question. The curtain covering the kitchen window should have told me everything I needed to know. It’s bonafide NO for me. Take the coleslaws advice and run to another place to grab food.

I was very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning. From the moment I arrived, I felt rushed while placing my order. The employee at the register seemed distracted, going back and forth to the kitchen instead of focusing on customers. I had to repeat my order multiple times, which was frustrating. When the food finally came out, it was incorrect. Overall, the service was unfriendly and disorganized, and it felt like the staff was too overwhelmed to properly assist customers. On top of that, the value was extremely poor. I paid a little over $40 and received very little food. The portion sizes did not match the price at all. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied and would not recommend this place to others. I definitely will not be coming back.

I ordered large flounder with fries no hush puppies but extra fries. Which cost me $14.83. Went home to get ready to eat...I noticed both of my flounder was too dry which the skin of it just came apart so I just ate the fish part! My fries were cold and mostly were hard. This made the 2nd time I came to get food! I will not come back again. Where is Mayflower located in Greensboro!?

Wife and Daughters Shrimp popcorn and jumbo really hot and Fresh I had Catfish , Fried Popcorn Shrimp and Fried Oysters .. had been wanting Oysters for Awhile.. was little disappointed as they were Luke warm Shrimp also guess because they waited on catfish which was thick to get done.. Owners were super nice ..Danny Said he make right next time..they do heckuva take out business.. may give them another try without the Catfish..
